Gravity Metal Detector FMD-P
The FMD-P-50 / 75 / 110 metal detector from Easyweigh Equipment Co Ltd is designed for detecting metal contaminants in freely falling bulk products such as powders, granules, and other materials.
It is typically installed between the weighing machine (feeder) and the vertical packing machine for forming packaging, ensuring effective detection of metal contamination before packaging and shipping of the product.
Upon detecting metal, the metal detector activates an alarm signal, and the pneumatic flap redirects the contaminated product to a separate container.
Free-fall metal detectors (gravity metal detectors) are widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries to detect metal contaminants that may pose a safety threat or affect product quality.
The FMD-P metal detector models are available in diameters of 50, 75, and 110 mm, respectively, and can handle throughput of up to 8000 kg per hour. The detectors require minimal space and need 650-750 mm for installation.
They are used on production lines for various products, including flour, rice, plastic granules, grain, corn, sugar, confectionery, chemicals, and nuts.
