Thermal Inkjet Printing System (TIJ) – An Old New Technology.
The thermal inkjet printing technology (thermal ink jet – TIJ) has long been known and widely used in office printers and printing.

Recently, with the advent of new inks and the improvement of cartridges, it has become possible to use coders based on thermal inkjet technology (thermal inkjet printer) in production for coding on primary and secondary packaging of goods.
The TIJ system cartridge has a number of small chambers with their own heaters. When a current pulse is applied to such a heating element, the ink in the chamber quickly boils, and the steam under high pressure ejects a drop of ink onto the treated surface.
