Laser coders
Laser Marking – Permanent Printing
Laser markers – these devices create a graphic image on the product by exposing the surface to a laser beam.
Depending on the material and the characteristics of the laser radiation, this can be engraving (removing the outer layer), changing the optical or physical properties of the surface at the marking site.
Laser markers have several advantages compared to traditional marking methods:
- Permanence of laser marking. Most often, the surface of the product after laser treatment can only be cleaned by removing the top layer, which can serve, for example, as protection against counterfeiting.
- Low operating costs. The only costs are electricity bills.
Long lifespan of the laser tube. 45,000 hours for gas CO2 lasers and hundreds of thousands of hours for solid-state lasers.
Vector marking. Unlike other marking methods, the laser beam moves not from point to point but draws lines, giving a beautiful picture.
Choosing laser equipment is quite a complex process, and our managers can help you with this.
IMPORTANT:
when coding flammable materials, combustion products should be removed from the marking area. PVC plastic releases chlorine-containing products.
