Etipack System 1 Twist – an automatic labeling machine for applying labels to cans, bottles, containers.

If applying a label (sticker) to a flat surface of the product is a simple task and is often easily solved by installing a standalone applicator into an existing conveyor line, then labeling cylindrical or conical shaped products requires a number of auxiliary devices.

For this task, Etipack developed the System 1 Twist labeling machine.

A special advantage of the labeling system is the ability to automatically apply control labels to the lids and capping means of food products, which protects the manufacturer from opening the product before it reaches the end consumer. At the same time, this is an additional step in improving product marketing.

System 1 is available in various versions, depending on production needs, requirements in terms of label height, packaging complexity, labeling applications, etc., allowing labeling at different speeds, all to match the customer’s production line performance.

The labeling system is compatible with Koenig&Bauer Coding GmbH inkjet printers for printing alphanumeric prints, codes, variable data, etc. Depending on the requirements, it allows printing on the label itself, cover, zipper, or on the product body. In this configuration, it provides the user with significant time savings by simultaneously applying the label and marking with the production date, expiration date, batch.

To fully label with text, high-resolution barcodes, it can be equipped with thermal transfer printers.

Controlled by a PLC device, the labeling system allows the user to create so-called Programs for each product type individually, significantly facilitating an instant transition from one product to another without additional adjustment of sensor position, belt speed, labeling speed, etc., which allows significant operator time savings and increased productivity.
