The main purpose of Labelmate rewinders is winding self-adhesive labels into a roll at the output of a thermal transfer printer or unwinding labels into the printer.

As unwinders, they can feed labels into the printer. This bypasses printer limitations on the diameter of the supply and receiving label rolls, increasing equipment productivity.

And often the use of a standalone label rewinder is more beneficial compared to mounted or internal thermal transfer printer rewinders in terms of price and application flexibility (the rewinder is easily transferred from one printer to another).

Labelmate rewinders allow winding labels into rolls up to 125 mm wide (up to 115 mm for the MC-11) and up to 220 mm in diameter at speeds up to 500 mm/sec.

Labelmate offers MINI-CAT rewinders in two versions: the Labelmate MC-10 with a fixed diameter core (76 mm) and the Labelmate MC-11 with an adjustable diameter core (25-101 mm).

Labelmate label rewinders use a constant tension system to ensure even label winding. The rewinders automatically adjust to the printer’s printing speed up to 250 mm/sec and can even automatically return the label back into the thermal transfer printer if it supports this function.

The tension force and winding direction are easily set on the rewinders’ power supply unit.
